Journal with a Twist - December 13th

Good morning!!

Today is the last art journal challenge until the New Year! (unless of course you want to throw one out there sometime!!).

The prompt: Photos!! We all take them this time of year, so for your art journal page this week, you must use a photo somehow, somewhere... and you must paint the edges!!! I stuck my photo down while the acryliuc paint was wet, and it dried all wrinkly... and I love the effect it made!! It can be any theme, anything!

The technique: Get messy and finger paint!! That is right... mine is done completly by using only my fingers to paint!!! Have fun and can't wait to see what you do!

I love it.... nice finger painter!! I will have to think on this one... my room is so messy it really doesn't matter if I miss the paper, no one will ever see it...

LOL!! My room was like that too, but it is tidied up now!!

I got mine at least tidied up just so I could do this...lol!!

I got messy then threw it away... then dug it out and ripped the photo off of it... then ripped the photo, then matted it... then curled the mat... then finger painted the photo .... then decided to add some paint to the black mat... didn't like it so ripped the mat... then added the flourish and the lettering and now I like it so I am going to leave it alone now....



it's not as easy as you think to do a page...
