Journal with a Twist - December 6

Today's challenge is a fun one.. I think it is anyways!

Prompt: Stand Out! Take a page from a book, or a sheet of pp with words on it, and make one sentence stand out!!

Technique: Use markers to make the sentence stand out somehow.

Here is mine.. the stand out sentence is ... " I wasn't sure what to do." LOL!!!

Thanks Kelly!! It was a piece of pp I have had for forever, and when I was thinking of what to do.. it just popped at me! LOL!!

that is fabulous Helen!!!!! Mine was so hard to do... I ended up using lots of paint but did use markers somewhat!!

These were my attempts. This was perfect for my book of quotes. However, I don't really like my results.

I did use markers in this one. Way too much pattern and color here. Maybe I should have given it a white wash before I layered on the hearts.


So I tried this. One of my long time favorite poems. I did the back ground and then didn't know what else to do so there it is. I didn't use markers on this one except for the brown borders.


I had done this one before. It's my favorite of the three.

I really like them Gail! I love the hearts on the first one. I love the leaves on the 2nd one & the brown border is perfect. I also love the tiny hearts on the last one. That's one's my favorite too but I really do like all of them. Great job!
