JOURNALING with a Twist! October 18

This is just going to be a quick post since I'm having computer issues. Today's topic is Fall! I got the idea from the current blog post at A Year in the Life of an Art Journal

THE PROMPT: Fall is in the AIR

THE STUFF: I love fall. So this prompt I want you to share what makes it FALL for you... the leaves changing? The crisp air? What do you love about Fall?

THE TECHNIQUE: Use a leaf on your page (either real, stamped, or a picture) and use some naked chipboard to represent the naked trees

I gessoed the page first, added a ton of different spray inks, added molding paste over a dotted stencil, sprayed more ink... made a tree out of tissue.. sprayed ink all over that.... the stamped, added leaves and my naked chipboard! LOL!!

Thanks for telling how you did that Helen. It looks great. I need to get some different stencils and decide if I need molding paste or can use something else. What a great way to make the tree!

Those are kids upside down in the leaf pile.. so it is their jean clad legs and running shoes!
