I think it looks great in the middle. One of the best tips I saw for misting is to get an old box & put your item in the box & then spray. I also like to take mine apart & drip the ink around. I like larger drops

Here it is... I got... my family!



I started with something different then realized that it was in 2013... so tore it out.... not quite finished but has red and some glitter and a snowflake!! (it's red just peeking out of the ribbon!)...there is stickles scattered on the patterned paper but it doesn't show up here.

Since this is the beginning of a new year, I ended my journal to start a new one... this is the cover I just finished for the old one... the front is on the right....



I still need to add a clear finish and maybe some more color but for now I really like it how it is.

Wow ladies! I see some awesome work. I'm the worst at journalling! I just never know how to put all my "all over the place thoughts" into words in a way that they make sense. I know I need to work on this in the the biggest way!

Thanks everyone. Marie, that's how I felt when I started but following in Helen's footsteps really helped me just relax and go for it!! Now I am really enjoying my journals...after all, they are for me!! I love using the challenges to rethink how I usually do things.

What Lois said is true.. they are for you and you only. You can't make a mistake, you just do what you want!! Give it a try!!
