| Enough doodling around because I have got lots to share. Today is going to be like going to the garden center. This week, you will have three choices. Let's end May with a BLOOM!!! When the DT began their planning my first thought was one of my favorite summer flowers. Gerbera daisies. There is no point of re-inventing the wheel "Stamping with Noel" has an awesome tutorial using the Sissix Daisie #2 Die. I am sure on one of the Cricut cartidges there would be a petal flower that would work or Spellbinders probably has a multi petal flower, too. Here is the tutorial link http://www.stampingwithnoel.com/2011/02/flowers-the-first-in-a-series.htmland this is a card, that I sent to Marie with a Daisy on it. The daisies are great for cards or LOs and could be popped on an Art Journal page. Open Flowers Kelly asked how the flowers were made on a post during SEED Week. I have attempted to put together a little tutorial. The nice thing about these flowers is they are light and open. You will needed 1/8” strips of paper, Tombo Glue, 3/8” paper circle, center --- brad, button 1. Cut strips of paper desired link. A 3” strip will make a flower 2 ½” to 3 “ in diameter. 2. Glue your ends together. They can be left as the loop. You can put loops inside loops. Start with your smallest and build outward. The curved may be pinched to give a pointed petal. 3. Place glue on the circle. I place my petal so they form quaters. Fill in remaining petals, the number of petals depends on the size of the loop. 4. Make a center for your flower --- button, brad, paper circle with glitter or Stickle... your choice. The flowers can be used alone or stacked as I have done on this LO. And while I was trying to find a tutorial for the above flowers, I saw these cute flowers done with strips of paper, I just had to share because they are so easy and what a great way to use up scraps. http://lizziemade.blogspot.ca/2010/05/paper-flower-tutorial-part-2-flowers.htmlEnjoy ladies!! Hope to see lots of May BLOOMS on your projects this week. Waiting to see your creations combined with Find It Friday and Sketch Saturday. | |

| I don't have those punches but do have a SU daisy die in my hot little hands. I've been waiting to use it ever since Linda mentioned this possibility several weeks ago!! | |
