Yeah! I had to take a photo of every team member as they cut down the net. I can't remember the last time I did a layout with so many photos.

OK ladies.. the stencils are teh Crafter's Workshop and YES it's gesso.
I have been using chevrons. hexagons, stars, gears and circles too.
I really love the look it adds to a page.

I finally got the sample for this LO done, it's a two pager. While I was in Alberta, I taught GD to knit, she was a very quick leaner. My "Something New" is a new skill for GD.

Together, they look like this -



The little knitting needles ate made with round wooden toothpicks and beads. The minature skeins of yarn are wound around a tube of lipstick and the label is printed on the computer. The banners are knit, just a basic garter stitch.

What can I say... simply STUNNING!!! LOVE it all!

This is a card I made using a new technique I've always wanted to do but never got around to it-using an image off a tissue box. The flower is a piece cut off the box,stamped a saying on and dressed up with stickles to make a quick card rather than stamping and coloring. Just an easy technique.I read about this in a card magazine a few years back. Some tissue boxes had and still have some very pretty pictures on them and I think embossing a saying or verse may be better than just stamping. A fun something new.
