Stephanie's September challenge - colored pencils

I love buying school supplies as part of the "Back to School" routine. My favorite supplies are colored pencils and crayons. Your challenge is to make a layout or card using colored pencils on it. As an added twist, I want you to slip in some plaid paper somewhere to represent school uniforms.

My example will follow :-)

Dollarama has spirographs in for $2.. I saw them the other day again. Maybe I'll do that.

That would be cool Kelly. This will be good. I haven't used my pencil crayons for quite a while except for my first attempt at doodling yesterday.

I did a layout (coloured in the banner pieces):



and I did a card too (coloured in the stamped image of the dog):

Nice work Lisa. Did you do the edges of the banner pieces by hand or did you have something else. They look really good.

They are stamps. I just stamped, cut them out and then coloured them in with pencil crayons.

Only colored in a few bits of my Stamped butterfly....

I was hoping I had pencil crayon stickers, but I didn't... so I used my watercolor pencils to make a border around the page and circle words I wanted to stand out.

Oh I just love what you ladies have done! I'm going to do this one tomorrow while everything is still all over the table!

Kerri, did you use a punch on the brown cardstock? I Love that..

The punch I used Kelly, was Fiskars "In Stitches " border punch...one of my faves
