Gail, I just took my finger after I was done rubbing (set the time for 1 minute) and just rubbed off the paper that I didn't want. Some areas were sort of "dry" by the time I got around to them so I just licked my finger and rubbed more.. HTH

and here's the layout I did with the cute little tag.

That is very pretty, Kelly. The tag is a beautiful accent!

This is exactly what I did too. I found a put too much gel medium down the first time I tried this also.

Yes, I remember Helen mentioning it so that's what I did as well.

Ladies I just did mine and I love it!!! I did a botanical vintage print for a card. I'll post it in a bit.

Here is mine Miss Helen:

I used a botanical vintage rose and put it on a file card, then made it into a card. The little yellow tag says "you are my sunshine". I made the card for you Miss Helen!!!

Thanks for the tips. I guess I just rubbed a little too much off on some of them, and probably too much gel medium.

Leslie.. I had to try about 3 times before I got it.. and then I had paper stick to my tag... but just rubbed some off with a wet fiinger, and left some on for texture!

I'm not sure if, I'm sold on this technique, after a few attempts. I was trying to transfer, a design with three floaties for this pool page. They did not tranfer well on colour paper, so I transferred to white then cut them out and put them on the blue.

Linda, I think it works best with "distressed" looking things.. I was going to try and transfer a bright "happy birthday" but changed my mind at the last minute...

I agree with Kelly, I think it works well with a distressed LO.

Thanks, ladies. I was going to use them regardless. I am going to look for some other images, that might work better. I just wanted something for this LO.

I used the gel medium on this small flower image and this was the best(faint) I got. Tried it with other images too but they didn't work so after 5 attempts I thought go for what I got the best of! Will keep trying on others after the summer school is over! Maybe get to university yet LOL.
