Week 1 - Tech Class #2

Here is the second technique I will share with you this week.. another easy one!!

What you will need...



- Piece of cardboard (I used a 6x6 piece, but you can use any size)
- Paint (I used Golden Cobalt Teal acrylic paint)
- Paintbrush
- Piece of cardstock (I used a 6x6 piece but any size will work, or the background of a layout, etc.)

First, you need to pull the backing off the cardboard. You don't need to get every little piece off, as some of the stuck bits make for interesting texture too. (forgot to get a picture of this!)

Then.... paint the ridged side of the cardboard and press this firmly onto your cardstock.





There you go... corrugated texture!!!!



You have until July 25th at 8pm EST to show me your piece of cardstock using this technique for 1 point!

You will have until July 25th at 8pm to use this technique on a card or layout to earn 3 points.

And for some Brownie points..... if you use this technique AND make a card or use it as a background on a layout, and have it done before next Wednesdays' challenges are posted.... you will get 5 points!!!

nice job Colleen and Carla! I love yours too Helen but you are the teacher.... you get apples!! Here is mine... Maria wants it!! Apparently now blue is her favorite color! The colors are a little off... the fuzzy brad is really more of a turquoise blue...and matches the flower more.
