| I made my flowers today, DGd thought she should help but not until she is older, mine are a mixture of candle and heat gun, The burn is easier to control with the candle and gives a nice smooth rolled edge but the heat gun gives more crunch and depth.  Sorry the pic is fuzzy, I guess I was to late taking it!

| I didn't use organza because I don't have any... so I used some material I printed myself on some polyester cotton... it burned a bit but I just kept blowing it out! Then I made a card with it.  | |

| Thanks for trying both ways, Linda.. maybe I'll get an hour or two to try today. Lois, I like the effect yours has. I only have red organza (left over from a Christmas gift last year!) so my flower (if it works) will be red... otherwise, cotton here I come!  | |

| Hmmm I'm actually scared of fire. I had to a brownie badge when I was young and one of the requirements was to light a candle with a match. Oh my! My mom kept trying with me for 1 hour and I'm sure she was fed up. I just could not strike the match. I was terrified it would burn me. Eventually I did do it and got it lit. LOL!
I still don't like matches. I'll have to see about this one.

| I prefer to use my heat gun.. I also painted around the edges after I was done to give it more depth.
