Do you purge??

I find that this is one way I can organize my stash!

As you sort your things into piles that make sense for YOU, purge as you go along.

I’m sure you have some paper that is no longer your style, stickers representing a sport or hobby your family no longer participates in, etc.

While you’re organizing is the perfect time to purge. Why bother taking time and making space for something you’re never going to use? I recently purged my scrapbook supplies and ended up with a box of stickers and papers for kids crafts, and a bag I donated to a grateful friend who was just starting to scrap.

Does your local scrapbook store hold “garage sales”? What better way to get rid of your unwanted items and earn a little money…perhaps to buy new supplies that inspire and excite you.

Once you’ve cleared out unwanted supplies, and you have a visual of how much stuff you need to store, start gathering containers or utilizing more effectively the ones you already have.

Yes, I'm a purger! I love to organizer and dislike clutter. Only time keeps me from doing it more!

I have been on a purge binge lately. I sold a bunch of things when I was reorganizing my space. I also gave a bunch to a friend who works with the kids at CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) cancer unit. She also volunteers at a senior's facility and in schools - helping scrapbook etc. She's a "good cause" for sure!

I go through things on an irregular basis... generally when I can't stand it anymore!

Yes, all good ideas! Sometimes I buy things that I think I will like, but I never use it. Great to purge :-)

I so need to do this. All the further I've gotten in organizing is making a list of all the categories I want to have in my scraproom. I need to buy another table to start laying stuff out on. The basement floor is just not a great spot for it.

I need to purge big time...I have stuff and don't have any idea where it is...drives me crazy...I spent three hours cleaning my room last night and it's not done I gotta keep going....and that is just tidying! Wait until I actually organize it...that will take forever.

I purged and gave it to Maria ... Heehee, then since I still have to store it, I get to browse through it!!

I need to purge, big time. I did donate a few things to our local scrapbooking store garage sale - fund-raiser but more needs to go!!!

I'm planning on doing this next week when I'm setting up my new scraproom but we'll see how it goes. DH was supposed to be off work helping me but they said he couldn't take the time off at the last minute I have to do whatever I can during the day and he will help me at night but he has football two nights and we have a football meeting another night...lol.
