want to guess

I sure hope we don't have to do another week of guesses! I had some good pre-labor contractions this morning. Pained so much in my lower back I was ready for some counterpressure! They stopped ofcourse when I got out of bed.

Went for an appt. this afternoon. All is ready... just waiting for God to press the "release hormones" button so contractions will start! An ultrasound is scheduled for Friday to see how he is thriving... but I'm hoping to be in a different room of the hospital by then!!

She did offer to sweep my membranes today to see if that would get things going, but I declined. I've never had it done before.

Will check in again in the morning!

This is the hardest part waiting on God to tell that little one to get out of there.

Well, Lisa... I have 12+ hour labors, so unless labor starts now ... we have to do a third run of guesses. "sigh". Let's give Lisa until 6 pm tomorrow... so give your guess from that time until Friday of next week. One of you WILL win this time!!!

Saw Thane by ultrasound today. He is doing great! Lots of water (the nurse said I better have a shop vac nearby if it breaks ) and heartbeat good. Lots of movement. His boy parts were very much there )LOL! Looks like he'll have just a bit of hair (I've been taking Tums for heartburn every night so don't buy into that old wives tale about lots of heartburn meaning lots of hair!!) I'm scheduled to have another assessment on Tuesday and from there I am to go to my doctor's office for a membrane sweep. If things don't happen by Thursday or Friday an induction will be scheduled... I'm still hoping for labor to start naturally before Tuesday morning!
