| These are gorgeous Carol. and I have no idea either!!! When I think of crepe papre it brings back those childhood memories of my sister and I striinging it up on the wall for Christmas decorations... and if you stuck your tongue on it. .it would stick and give you a nasty taste in your mouth... I can taste it now.. YUCK!! | |

| Those are pretty. I have some crepe paper edging from an old kit. I might just give this a try. Question from the unexperienced - what is Matte Medium? | |

| Colleen, those came out GORGEOUS! I love that you love to make handmade flowers. I get excited for the both of us when I find something new! LOL
Was it difficult to work with the mulberry papers?

| Gail it's also sometimes called "gel medium." It's what I use to stick the pages of my altered book together! | |

| Carol, I cut them out with my sizzix because the punch won't cut them clean, other than that it is easy to work with. My only problem is I don't have lots of colors of paper to work with. Thanks for the idea Carol. | |

| Gorgeous flowers Colleen!!! The calla lily that is in the banner got my attention as well. DD wants calla lilies for her wedding next year so I may try making some of these and see how they turn out TFS!! | |

| Very pretty Colleen.
Thanks for the explanation. I'm guessing it wouldn't soak in as much as liquid glue? I think I'm going to look for some.

| Looks like I'll be making some of these today instead of working on the website! LOL
A friend of mine in PA sent me some sheets of crepe paper - somehow it's stiffer than the rolls of crepe paper.
Colleen, do you use glimmer mist at all - or distress inks? That's what I'm hoping to use to color my white crepe paper!

| I do use glimmer mist and distress and in fact the ones I made here, I put a little glue on the flowers and dipped them in fine glitter. | |

| Okay so my CM punch didn't like the crepe paper, so I just free handed the cuts. Definitely NOT a good idea to use regular glue - it's too much and soaks thru the crepe paper. I will pull out my gel medium or use mod podge on the next one.
I want to try some distress ink and then spritz it with water - we'll see how that does.

| Shortly after this was first posted, I used my crepe paper edging and made a couple. I used the gel medium to adhere the glitter and it worked really well. | |
