quilled snowflake

I first saw this idea here

and I made a bunch of snowflakes for my tree last year.

Tonight I taught a class with these. Here is one ornament I made. I'll get another pic of the ones I did this evening (the lighting is terrible for white snowflakes at night!)

That's so pretty! I picked up an instruction sheet for these at Joann's the other day but wouldn't you know, they didn't have any quilling tools.

The other ones I made I added very fine fake snow. They look pretty!

Wow, so nice Stephanie! Did you use actual quilling paper? Yours look finer than mine do. I just used my paper shredder to get my strips.

Thank you! I used my trimmer & did 1/8" strips. Paper shredder is a good idea too!
