So...who is interested in making a PBA for a challenge?

Okay, just found this thread this morning and being as i have never made a PBA, I thought I would read through all the comments and see what was happening, checked out this link and have been sidetracked for quite awhile watching all the videos, and am I ever IMPRESSED!! This looks like a great little project (like I need another one!!) so I am going to go and look for some paperbags and see what i can do. This is a big challenge for me because i am definitely a color inside the lines person and find it difficult to "mess" up things to look shabby or vintage. I may or maynot get this done but I am going to give it a try anyway! i will keep track of what all you talented ladies do for sure!!

I am so a stay in the line pesone too Cheryl! This is a huge challenge for me, but I am going to gice it a try!

Okay, I got excited when I looked at all the videos and when i went grocery shopping, I found some paper bags. I have put them together like the link in sonya's comment so that I have pages and flaps. I don't think I will do the covers like hers though, I have a bind-it-all, so maybe I will use that. I am going to try vintage, I have lots of lace in my sewingroom that needs to be used up, I have lots of other things too, like buttons,etc. in my stash, so I should have enough to work with. Now only if i have the creativity!! This is thinking outside the box for me!! If this works well I may be on to a new style......probably not though!!LOL I have 100 paper bags now so i can do many albums if i so desire!! If anyone wants paper bags just let me know!!! Now, if I could just get myself off the computer and into my scraproom, I'd do more!! I'm going.........soon, I promise!!

Oh Cheryl, glad you are going to play with us. I think you will find it exhilerating! They are just so fun to make!! Don't know why they appeal to me so much 'cause for the most part I don't like making minis, not enough real estate but I love these and I am planning on making a bunch for gifts.

I've been working on mine. I thought I'd give it to my good friends dd. She takes fabulous pictures and I have got a bunch of her that I'd thought I'd use. But than again...selfish me wants to keep it..lol

I've gotten mine underway at last.. not vintage though.. but maybe vintage paper... ha ha ha... it was in my stash for soooooooooo long!!

I'm almost done mine. I was thinking of making a recipe book out of it. But went into a different direction.

There is a thread for posting the front page and I just posted mine in the gallery but you can start a thread with yours in it and then everyone can post theirs too.

I received my PBA in the mail yesterday before work. Can't wait to get at it sometimes this weekend but it might be tight as we have football tonight, football tomorrow morning, and DH has a couple of friends coming over tomorrow so I need to do some cleaning as well......oh....and the one hour challenge tonight!

Thank goodness we have a while to finish it!
