Today is the Great American Backyard Campout! When was the last time you spent a night out under the stars? Tonight, thousands of families will set up a tent in the backyard or a local park to celebrate life in the great outdoors.
I think we're finally getting summer -- yesterday was awesome! Still light here at close to midnight. I'm just not sure I wanna sleep in a tent on the ground -- lol, must be getting old!
I think we can do a campfire, though. How about you??

| No backyard camping for us today. It's pretty wet out there!

| I doubt we will get to do camping tonight. We do have a pop up trailer in our backyard that we could set up. It's just super humid and we usually don't sleep so well (well, DH anyway). If I can convince him to set it up, I'll definitely take pictures! | |

| No flooding here, thankfully  We had tons of rain last week, but no ill effects; grass looks greener, though | |

| Definitly no camping here.. unless it is a 5 start kind! LOL!!
I just talked with my Mom... she is in Medicine Hat.. about 3 hpurs southeast of Calgary... adn they are on alert for flooding there today.. and for the next couple days. HORRIBLE what Calgary is going through... sending prayers to all of them..... | |
