Since there are several of you that garden, I found these tips and tricks for your garden. Some of them probably aren't new to those of you that are seasoned Smile but I thought some of them were pretty neat!

And for those of you (like me Smile) that aren't into gardening so much, maybe you have some garden pictures to scrapbook. Here are some great gardening based LO's with some tips to go along with them.

Enjoy!

TFS. Not much of a gardner, but my daughter and my mom are great at it.

Those are some neat tips! Love the idea of turning your rake handle into a measuring stick! Also, scrapping your nails over a bar of soap to make a barrier for dirt. Neat!

Didn't bother to read the gardening tips! Laughing But am intrigued by the nails on bar of soap idea that has been mentioned.

Thanks for the tips, Stephanie! You're so good at finding things. Smile

I do a few "garden" layouts every year so def am interested in those.

I don't garden either Kelly but it was an interesting little article even if you don't garden. I think I'll use the soap under the nails for DS #1 when he's playing outside! LOL!! That boy is constantly dirty!!

Cool tips.. I especially like this one...

"The next time you boil or steam vegetables, don't pour the water down the drain, use it to water potted patio plants, and you'll be amazed at how the plants respond to the "vegetable soup."

Going to have to try this one!!

I love the soap idea! I REALLY dislike dirt getting under my fingernails and find that even gardening gloves "leak". Thank you so much for the herb drying tip too! I wasn't happy with the way my herbs dried last year... I'll definitely be trying this!
