MAKE IT MONDAY - April 15

This Make It Monday is all about Washi tape. Here are some neat techniques for making your own.

Here are 3 options for making your own Washi Tape! Choose one that best works with the products that you have at home.

This video tutorial uses double sided tape, tissue paper, inks and stamp.

I watched the first one, Linda... with no plans of watching it in it's entirety (it's an 11 min. video) but I was hooked. She kept my attention! What a great tutorial! I don't have double sided tape... but I'm in town tomorrow night! Off to check out the others!

The second one isn't a video, but more my style! No ink involved... I'm going to look for cheap napkins tomorrow too! I'll use a few to make washi tape and store the rest for meals!

The last one, not a video either, so takes only a minute to view, leaves me wondering if I should just make them this way! They have to be applied with glue when done, but a great way to make washi tape to match the pps on hand!

I just bought 10 rolls of washi from a daily deal site for $10 and free shipping! Woo-hoo!! She said if you bought 2 sets she'd make sure there were no doubles. Unfortunately, she only ships to the U.S. but if any of you wanted to use my address & then I could ship from there, it'd be no problem

I just made six pieces using the video. There are a couple that turned out and a couple that didn't. I need to pick up some wider tape to work with the border stamps that I have.

I did it....I made my own washi tape/paper. Not sure if this is the one I'll use on my LO or not but I tried it out. here's a pic of how it turned out and what I used.
