Today, we are going to make banners with shapes we have on hand. You will need a shape punch or cut out from your cricut, etc. The site I found used a 2in. scalloped circle punch. Punch or cut out several shapes from different pieces of patterned paper and then fold them in half. You should have something that looks like this:

Then adhere the shapes over a string of thread, floss, etc. like this:

Now, you have your own banner!

Oh I did this on Saturday with my circle punch. Marie has a scalloped punch I have been wanting to do this with.

I have oodles of different shaped punches, scallop rectangle, normal circle ( 3 different sizes) , square punch...plus a box of scrap papers screaming to be used , I can see a promising future for this banner idea Smile

I gave this idea a try and used my hexagon shape maker to make the banner. I folded the shapes in half and then added a couple teeth for embellishment.
