Project Life 2013 SoS CHALLENGE

Everyone has their own unique style and their own preferred way to do things. We, the DT, here at SoS want to encourage and challenge you in your creativity. There have been a number of ideas posted on how to set up and do a Project Life - some are using kits, some are using journal pages, some are doing layouts. There have been prompts and printables posted as well.

During the next few months - until the end of 2013 - we will be sending out RAKs to participants in this challenge. These RAKs will be random in timing and nature BUT one of the criteria for being entered for the RAK will always be that you are current on your projects. DTMS?

So, in order for your name to be in the drawing for the MEGA PRIZE at the end of 2013 (what a great way to start the next new year!), sign up in this thread and tell us in detail what your plan includes. We will hold you accountable to the goals YOU set for YOURSELF!

We will take sign ups until the end of January (the 31) onlyand then start RAKKING in earnest!

In order to keep things fair, there have to be some rules. For the RAKS and the Mega-Prize :
1. You are required to create a MINIMUM of one layout (8x8 or larger) per week OR four per month.
2. If you are using the hybrid scrapbook page protectors, you must have one for each week as per #1.
3. take AT LEAST 3 photos per week for your project,
4. include journalling
5. add epherma as desired
6. have fun!


We will continue to provide photo prompts, journaling tips and challenges throughout the year for you to include in your Project Life. What is a hybrid scrapbook page protector? You can check out various types here. If you are interested in using or purchasing these, you can get them from any scrapbook supplier or ask here in the forum and I'm sure someone can tuen you on to a source.

If you have any questions, ask them here in this forum and one of the DT will be happy to help you out!

what is epherma?
Is it to be about your week or just random LO's?

Epherma is all the little detrius of life ... Ticket stubs, programs from special events etc some people like to add these things to their scrapbook

The layouts are to be about your life THAT week.

I'd like to do this too. Sign me up for LO's! I plan to do 8x8 pages. If need be I'll send DH with a CD or thumb drive to print my pics for me! Or maybe I'll get a refill for my Canon mini printer and print pics at home! There's an idea!

Yes I guess hybrid - the project life page protectors.

I'm doing 12x12 hybrids and layouts of different sizes.

Add me!!! I am doing layouts on 8-1/2 x11 ... Two will be in full pockets and 4 will be both sides of those clear sheets that hold photos....and maybe some will be a different size later.

I'll say a minimum of a double page spread each week

Kelly, I ordered the PL kit, so I will be using that. My dd, Jessica, is doing a Smash Book. I will share her work here, too.

Will you also be doing layouts? Or just the hybrid?
