| As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas, too.
And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each tiny hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound. In this part of the poem, most of the action is occurring in the sky or on the roof, so your challenge is to use a dark background and the main focus of your layout or project is to be at the Top of your project. There also have to something that twinkles and a surprise at the bottom of the page, for St. Nicholas as down the chimney he bounds. Here is mine.  A black background with gold misting in the top left corner. The picture and journaling is in the top 2/3s of the LO, gold & white glitter Thicker letters for title plus gold brads for the twinkling and the surprise red question mark in the bottm right. Rules: 1. Must be new projects created for this crop. 2. May enter this challenge a maximum of two times. 3. All projects due November 25 at midnight (EST) Have fun! | |

| Yes, the surprise at the bottom seems tricky to me. I'm glad of your example Linda. I love the way you did the title with a mix of fonts and the snowflake for the O.
