Weightlifting

Weightlifting showcases a test of pure strength – the oldest and most basic form of physical competition.

Athletes compete on a platform, which is 4m x 4m and 10cm high.

Each event features two types of lift. In the Snatch, the bar is lifted from the floor to above the head in one movement. By contrast, the Clean and Jerk is a two-stage action – the bar is first brought up to the shoulders before being jerked over the head.

Harold Sakata, better known as Oddjob from the James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’, won a silver medal for the USA at the London 1948 Olympic Games.

The bodyweights of competitors are used to break ties – the lifter who weighs less wins.

Men’s Weightlifting featured at the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, with women’s Weightlifting introduced at Sydney 2000.

Your challenge is to create a layout with all the weight on one side or spot. Also, you must use a square of 4x4 (about 10cmX10cm) paper and a strip of paper 10 in. x 2 in (about 25cmX5cm).

Rules:
1. Must be new as of August 5th
2. May NOT be combined with any other Olympic Challenges
3. May submit up to 2 layouts if you wish.
4. Have fun!

well... I got this one done...the little bits of journaling at the top left say... You just had to wake me up! I think I might be a little more than 40% but I tried to keep it small!!
