I organize all of my paper stickers/die cuts/embellishments using photo boxes and cd cases.

First, when a new product comes in, I cut out the pieces into smaller sections to fit the cd case. Sometimes I cut out everything individually.

Then I put the pieces into a cd case.

The cd cases go into marked photo boxes.

I use a tag to mark the front of each photo box with contents. I have divided them into the following (but any categories/combinations will work).

1. Tags/Tabs/Journal Blocks/Dividers/Labels
2. Alphabets/Monograms/Calendars/Numbers
3. Spring/Summer/Nature/Flowers/Easter
4. Love/Family/Friendship/Home/Life/Faith
5. School/Fall/Halloween/Winter/Christmas/Vintage/Travel/BDay
6. Children/Teens/Babies/Pets/Hobbies/Sports

Then the six boxes sit on a shelf.

My rule is that I can only buy new things, if I have empty cd cases. So I either use the product up or donate what I know I will no longer use. The empty cd cases are taken out of the boxes and put on my shelf. I can visually see how many things I can buy.

As for long borders, I keep those in a separate box.

It helps too when I'm doing a certain theme - then I just look through that box to see what I have.

Great idea, I use CD cases for my stamps but love this, too.

I buy my CD cases at Staples, they have clear cases in a large pack. I have not bought them in a while so I can't remember the price or number in the pack but I'm thinking 20 or 25.

My kids and dh had tons of them when took their cds out years ago and stored them in one case. But you can buy them too. One box holds 25 cd cases.

Hmm... I know there are tons of cases downstairs but don't know if there are still cds in them or not... I'm afraid to take their "stuff"... that's the big problem with having kids move out and leave "treasures" behind... you never know when they start to forget about them! Laughing

Oh and remember to pop the black insert out before using.

We have hundreds of cd cases...wonder if DH will say anything if I "borrow" them and put all the cd's in a box? LOL Since I have 3 cd holders (hold 72 I think)....I would already have a storage box so to speak and could just sit them on the ledge of my workspace....hmmmmm.....thinking now Wink

Here is the link to the boxes I used. I bought them over 5 years ago and they are in perfect condition (and I drag them out a lot):
