| After buring weeds with Colleen.. you are going to fly to Northern Alberta and check out where our fearless leader is going to be moving to.... Grande Prarie, Alberta!!! Grande Prairie is a city in the northwestern part of the province of Alberta in Western Canada. It is located on the southern edge of the Peace River Country. Grande Prairie is one of Canada's fastest growing cities. As of its 2007 civic census, its population was 50,227. Grande Prairie was named for the large prairie which lies to the north, east, and west of it. In the 18th century, the prairie was occupied by bands of the Beaver First Nation who began trading with the North West Company at Dunvegan in the early 19th century. The city has adopted the Trumpeter swan as an official symbol because it is near the migration route and summer nesting grounds of this large and graceful swan. For that reason, Grande Prairie is sometimes nicknamed the "Swan City". Your challenge for this last leg of the race is to use this Victorian image of a girl with a Trumpeter Swan to make a card, an ATC, a layout, anything at all!!! I made a card that I will send to Carla once she gives us her new address.... You will have until midnight Wednesday March 28th to get this last leg of the race completed and uploaded to here!! | |

You could print it in b/w and then color it.

| I have a question. How do you make your bling circles stay round? My bling things tend to go all wonky when I take them off the clear backing. I'd appreciate any tips or tricks! Thanks. | |

Thanks. Actually these aren't bling, they are stickles! I used one of my creative memories circle templates, placed it on my card where I wanted my circle and followed the guide with stickles, then carefully removed the template. Call it cheap bling! LOL!
