Art Journal Challenge - #1 - Word

It's a New Year, and that means it is time for a "WORD" or phrase that signifies something important for you for the coming year!!

The promt for this challenge is: Word. What word or phrase will help you grow in 2013? What are you looking forward to changing about yourself? You get the drift!

The technique: Anything goes for this first challenge! I'm going easy on you for the first one! LOL!!

You may choose to art journal, you may choose to do a layout, a tag, anything at all, as long as you get creative!!

Stephanie.. I first linedd the page with washi tapes I have laying around, but masking tape would work great to. Then I put a thin coat of atered down white acrylic paint and then sprayed the heck out of it with random colors I grabbed.

I did this one, will post tomorrow as I'm going to try to get another LO done before bed then I'll upload them both tomorrow. My word I decided would be "Laugh". I'm too serious and let responsibility weigh me down. I'm determined to laugh more So I'm going to google "harmless pranks" and play some on my kids. I'm going to be a "Tickle Monster". I need to lighten up!

Today I pulled a prank on my whole family. I taped the sprayer on the kitchen sink so when someone went to use the water... they got wet! I fooled DS3, DS4, DS1, DS2 and DH! I laughed and so did they! DH got back at me ofcourse and sprayed DS5 in the process. DS5 got the worst of it. But he liked it. And a mop was all I needed to clean the mess. I think I'll wait a week and do this again. Mah-ha-ha!!!

Just got tomorrow's trick ready! Replaced the fruit punch juice that was left with water with a few drop of food color. He-he!

Im working on a piece of hand rendered type.

Looks like the stuff I'd do in my notebook when I was bored in class! Can't wait to see your lovely work!
