| Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. This first part of the poem makes me feel quiet and restful -- not even a mouse is awake and moving about  I thought for my challenge - since I LOVE minimalist and "white-space" layouts, I would challenge you to create a layout with lots of white space and very little in the way of embellishments. Quiet things down a bit. LOL! Be sure to include something that HANGS -- be it a banner, a flag, or maybe a dangling metal charm. Oh, and for the wee mousie, use at least ONE small photo! Rules: 1. Must be new projects created for this crop. 2. May enter this challenge a maximum of two times. 3. All projects due November 25 at midnight (EST) Have fun! | |

|  Here is my version of your challenge Carla.White space but not too much-the hanging things are the Christmas balls which are all a part of the paper itself. There is no extra embellishments on here and the small photo is actually a piece of the art work done by GS and put onto the lowest hanging bell! | |
