April 18th - Pet Owner's Independence Day

Happy Pet Owner's Independence Day!! That is right.. if you own a pet, this day is for you!!

If your job is so easy a monkey could do it, there's a holiday just for you. Today is "Pet Owners' Independence Day" so trade places with your cat or dog (sorry, monkeys). Spend the day cleaning yourself, eating and napping a lot and chasing random shadows and sounds around your yard. Your pet is supposed to go to work for you! Your pet may not be able to get to the office, buy you can certainly spend a day lazing around the house like your favorite pet.

For this challenge I want to see a layout or project with a photo of a pet! It could be yours, a grandchild's, a friends, as long as it is a pet!

My pet is on a diet... but I'll definitely be lazing around again today!

well, I don't have a pet but I'm sure planning a nap today in honor of a pet! LOL

Cute Helen but I don't think either Missi or Jack would know how to do my job. Missi would growl and hiss at every customer and Jack would be too excited to serve them so they can't go to work for me... sigh... I must go myself.

Me too Jackie! Sasha would get so excited and pee everywhere.. not much different than me come to think of it! LOL!!!

Baxter would try to bite everyone's heads off until he realized they'd pet him and then he'd drive them crazy jumping on them and trying to make them pay attention to him! LOL!

He even comes into the room when I'm on Skype so he can get in my lap and say hi!!! Hehehe!

Well I know you aren't making these up - I heard on the radio that it was Pet Owners Independence Day!

We are currently pet-less, but if the kids have their way, we'll soon be owners of a pair of guiniea pigs. My sister in law has two, and the kids LOVE them!
