PS/PSE Tutorial - Basics

Photoshop is a huge program and it can be very overwhelming to start with. This tutorial focuses on
Opening files
Layers
The Toolbar and the tools
Photoshop Workspace

While most of the time I will be writing the tutorials I felt it was best that the basics were explained by the pro's

This one walks you through opening a file and teaches you how to do some of the basics with it.

This one teaches you all about layers, an important feature you need to understand from the beginning.

Even though these are for photoshop those with Elements will find these useful as the two programs basics wise are the same. Some features may also be in other graphics programs too.

Feel free to leave any questions in our question thread however I will not be able to answer questions until Monday 17th Jan as I am having a few computer issues so do not have PS or PSE installed.

I really like the one about layers. I'll have to play around with my programs. I know there are layers but its been a long time since I looked at how to use them.
