Pounded Flower bookmarks!!

oh yeah I'd only do it with flowers I had a heap of from my garden, I know in summer we have HEAPS of frangipanis and these lil daisy looking ones, so would be interesting to see how they work!

yes, i don't think i would pound them either - i love them better just pressed and looking like a flower!! could be cool smashed as homemade background looking paper...

I tried this today!

We had some lil tea tree flowers, so I tried it, and well it didnt really come out so well...







I tried it twice, first one came out better than second.

I just took the rest and put them in theback of a thick book, to see if they will flatten and dry

way to try it AM - it is different looking - i bet once you add some dried flowers on it too, it will be gorgeous!! hugs

thanks for bumping the thread, cos it made me remember I had some of the flowers I had leftover from this project, stored in the back of an old book to try and dry them.

they've dried awesomely!

(I would think they would be best preserved by laminating them I think Sonya! Ia ctually I think I might do that with these!)
