Before I ever bought any Glimmer Mist, I made my own version. I blended some Lil' Davis Metallic Shades paint with water and poured it into a Mini Mister. I'm sure that other brands of paint would work as well. I might try mixing some MM Glitter Paints and Pearl Glaze and see what happens.

i have made my own when i couldn't purchase any...
i did it with hairspray and perfect pearls... if you were using lots of different colors and can't afford them all - make them - they do work out great!
