I'M Thankful

I'M Thankful

I'm thankful for the daily food,

upon our table spread,

For work that brings us bread.

I'm thankful for each bird that sings,

For stars and waiving trees,

For colors which the autumn brings,

And sounds and sights like these.

I'm thankful for my bed and rest.

For dark when daylight ends.

Of all my thanks, this is the best

For my family and friends.

I am also thankful that you are such a great "sister" to share this with us! Thanks Deanne!

I'm thankful to wake up every morning..... and of course for all of my friends and family... and for the 'sisterhood' and Deanne's list!!

Thankful I will be able to go up North for a family visit this weekend!

My cousin has been fighting off some pretty bad cancer over the summer... She has just started her second round of chemo.
Before the chemo starts to take a hold of her... we are going to go snoop out the old homesteads and historical sites that our 1753 Ancestors lived and played.
Very excited to take her to see some of her heritage.
especially the old Barn that still stands and is under the Dutch Barn Preservation Society.She is really looking forward to this day trip as much as I am.
Hope to get plenty of Photos of the day.
