Let's pull out those liquids!
I was doing an online crop a week or so ago and did an altered book... while doing it, I pulled out my Ranger inks (that had been just sitting for too long) and dribbled and spilled and rubbed them into the cover of my book... then I did a couple of blobs of crackle paint in random areas and when dry I rubbed some of the inks into the cracks. The cover was very distressed and old looking... I am going to do this to some of my chipboard in an upcoming layout, I am working on scrapping the acting careers of my grandmother and my uncle spanning the early 30's to the late 80's so want to have an older look to them.
I was also lucky to have some of the pearl and copper inks to use...
