BIG Decision....

WE do have a FB page (for those on Facebook) but it hasn't been active at all. When I started it, I thought it might pull in some friends who weren't used to forums. Not sure if anyone is interested in me keeping that open or not.

As to starting a new forum, I don't mind at all. I would just ask that you not use the same name

I don't know a lot about setting up a forum. I have been fiddling with the back end of this one for a while, so I can figure some things out, but am clueless when it comes to things like domains, hosting and such.

Again, I don't mind if you wanted to start another forum, but it certainly doesn't need to be the same as here. I'd prefer if it wasn't the same name, though.

I'm really sorry, girls I know I will miss the forum terribly, but I have to make the right decision for me at this time.

It does cost to run the forum, and it costs to send prizes, costs to remove ads etc. We took over from another store-based forum and the majority of the forum setup was already done. It'd be different if Helen or I owned a scrap store and the forum was an extension of that.

Nope. I did start sos2 however i changed it to Sisters Reunited. Haven't done the domain yet.

Ah i came from PoTP with some of the gang.

Been a long time ladies but when I heard I wanted to take the time to thank Carla and Helen. For all the time I was here on the board and those times helping out I loved it and loved working with Helen and have really missed her.

Carla I wish you the very best in your future and you have too much talent to just quit, I hope that mojo is just on a small vacation.

Helen, Michigan is still open for a visit.

While I understand the reasons, it's still sad. Everyone here is so wonderful, and talented and kind and generous. It's been so great to be here!
I would like so send a big huge thank you to both Carla and Helen and everyone that's been on the design team. You have all put so much into SoS, and I truly appericate everything you have done. Thank you for SoS. Thank you for being my "sisters" and my friends. I hope to see all of you again on another forum or even on facebook.

Marie please check out Bryers site. We really just want to continue the love. When Carla and Helen ate ready to chat or craft with us they can come on over and just pick up without having the responsibility...LOVE IT

As much as I am devastated I totally understand. I just want you to know how thankful I am that you lovely ladies showed me how great a forum can be. I loved how sweet you ladies have been and how quickly you accepted me and all my friends. I hope and pray to never loose touch with all my lovely sisters. I have been so inspired by you all and have grown so much! I can only imagine how bitter sweet this is for you ladies. I know how crazy life can be and I'm sure this has been an extremely hard decision.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this site and maintaining the spirit of sisterhood...and for keeping things going for so long through some of life's changes... I have not been around much for the past few months due to a lot of outside work and kid issues but I have been popping in to snoop on you all!! I can't even tell you how much I am going to miss this place....If everyone wants, I can still maintain a Rak list, just email me with anything to change or if you don't want to be on it...we can still surprise each other... And maybe we can just keep going on the Facebook site that Carla got going... Bryar, it would be great if you got something going! I didn't grow up with a sister and always wanted one... Then I found my birth family and a sister... I was ecstatic ... And that's how I felt when I started on this forum and found all of you... I can understand though Carla...and Helen... That it's time for a break for you, I've been feeling the loss of mojo for awhile myself...there is just so much going on all the time!!!

I am soooo sorry to hear that you are shutting down the forum, but I definitely understand. You have to make the decisions that are right for you. It has been amazing to be a part of such a wonderful, welcoming group of ladies.
