Today's art journal technique will take you back to your childhood days... it involves crayons!!
You have to love the smell of a new box of crayola crayons...


And what better way to use these then to do some resist drawings with them!
Resist products are hot right now in the scrappy world...


.. you know what I mean.. those papers and embellishments that have a coat of resist on them, and you sray them with ink, wipe them off and the resist wipes off clear, leaving the background?

Well today, I want you to use some crayons, I used the white one, but any colour will work.... and draw something on your art journal page. Then spray it with your favourite inks (I used Dylusions.. just cause I love them!), then wipe off the ink from the crayoned part, and voila... resist!!

I used the crayon to make the circle, and writing "Art is..", then sprayed the heck out of it, doodled, added some more paints, and here you go!!

You can use any qoutes, or anything you want.. just use crayons!
