I'm happy you got the stuff,Kelly. And you had asked for the recipe so I thought why not mail it together. I made cupcakes today using that recipe. Yummy!

Ohmygosh... talk about rich! We made a 9x13 with the recipe yesterday and there is SO MUCH ICING!! I have enough for another couple of cakes for sure.
We all loved it though. Thanks again. This is going in our family cookbook.

Funny... When dh saw us making chocolate cake and we told him it was a recipe that a lady from the scrapboard sent me, he looked skeptical. He has one chocolate cake he loves and didn't look impressed that I was trying something new. All I had to do though was tell him you were from Edmonton and he relaxed...

I will post the recipe tomorrow. I made the cupcakes for dessert yesterday -I don't bake too often as we certainly don't need sweets hanging around!

I understand! I froze more than half of the cake. It's dh's b'day on Saturday. I told him that was his b'day cake this year! We sure don't need the sweets either!
(I also had to freeze more than half of the icing. It made so much!)
