Cute! I already know what my favorite trees are: 1. willow - I love the way they drape and their long branches 2. ginko - love the shape of the leaves and the song my dad sings about them 3. maple - because of the "helicopters" they produce.

I'm recording this here for DH - he loves trees and I want to add this to a LO for him.
Bur Oak - it's a rarity around here and the top wildlife hard mast tree. Unique form.
American Beech - if it's a clear beech it's smooth bark, tall and straight trunk. Majestic looking.
Red Pine - so striaight!
Rock Maple - for maple syrup.
Hemlock - a mature stand is like walking through a park.

I love maples... they are so varied and some are graceful while some just grow tall and leave big huge leaves on the ground!
