| Guess the better way to say that would be 'howdy'! HA! Jessica asked that I intro myself. So here goes..... My name is Juliet but my friends call me 'Jules'. I am married to the most wonderful man and my absolute best friend, favorite scrapping subject and most handsome guy ever for 25 years, Vince....I have 8 children...yes all mine, one at a time....the older two are from a previous. Ashley and Christopher, both married and Ashley has my oldest and first grand, who is 10 weeks younger than my youngest, Bailie who is 14. Chris and his beautiful wife are trying to have a little one but have had major problems...she can get pregnant but hasn't been able to go beyond 16 weeks. Ashley is also married to a super guy, Lance. Ashley works for the Air Force and both of them are reservists...both have served in Iraq and Afghanistan with Ashley returning this next year.... Then the next 6 are Vince and I's....Martina is married to John and have one sweet little boy, Ian who just turned 1 and is the apple of his grandma's eye!!! We have him at least 2 days a week while mom works just down the street. Then Mason...he is not married but has our newest little one, Saylor. She is 9 months. Mason might give us fits most of the time but he is a good kid....he was the first man in the state of Mississippi to seek custody of his unborn child! He LOVES that little girl but her mom is not the nicest...actually her and her mom....he fought just for the rights to see her and he overwhelmingly won...if he were not off shore working we even guess that the judge would have let him have her living with him most of the time, but that was not what he wanted...he doesn't want to take her away from her mom, he just wants an active part of her life. And he has it! He gets her 6 days a month when he is home. She lives about 4 hours away. Anyway....then my next is Reva...she lives in Arkansas right now and our relationship is strained but I have faith that that will turn around someday! Next up is Adison...he is 18 and works off shore also...actually he and his brother are bakers for the rigs they are on. I'm amazed at Adison...he was the first to get the promotion after only 3 hitches out...he has a sweet girl but he also has major plans for his life...and he is the one that will get them. He and his brother also have a shop here locally where they do automotive and small engine repair when they are home. Adison has hopes to have his own recording studio some day...he has recorded for several people already...even one girl that tried out for American Idol this season coming up! We have no idea because she can't say if she made it or not but we have a suspicion that she did! Then....finally the two that are left at home....Lydia who will be 16 here in a few weeks and Noah who is 14. Lydia plays the cello and crochets everything and anything! She babysits for Ian and crochets stuff and sells the heck out of it! Noah is my other mechanic....he does mostly the small engine stuff but doesn't shy away from the big stuff... I have home educated the younger 7 and can't believe I am down to only 7 more semesters until I am done! I work for Weight Watchers as a leader and I also do some work for a friend who is an independent insurance agent... My hubby works for Lowes...he did work for a company that had products in Lowes but they did a major downsize...he got an early retirement package that helped a little during the transition....went to work for them (Lowes) part time until about a week ago and he got a full time position! Shewwww! I've been scrapping for about 10 years....have my own space now that most of the kiddos are gone...it is a den for hubby and a scrapbook room for me! We spend a LOT of our time up here! Oh...and we have some fur babies...two daushunds and one kitty.... That is about it I guess! | |

| Hi Jules! I don't have 8, but I have 3 and homeschooled them all the way through high school too! My two grandbabies and my little fur-boy are my favourite scrappy subjects. Endless opportunities for pages! My grands live in the States where my son is going to school. My second son and wife are seriously talking babies now so who knows? Maybe by Christmas we'll have another?? My baby girl will be off to Korea soon and I won't see her for a whole year. It will be different for sure. Welcome! | |
