Scramble Word Game

Yeah. I feel like I've done that with every single avatar! I have a list of authors and have checked illustrators too!

I have a mental block right now I think...

I am only missing one #11 - maybe it is an illustrator too

HELP - a clue from #11

I need #11 too!

This is strange - I copied over the words to pm them and my #11 had an i in it but it is a j on the list - okay I am losing it!

I posted a a couple of hints for 11 on in the chat section - It is a he and it is one of the two books that is an avatar, when goggled the name of the book it was the first author that came up from the book. But I know it is not the cover of the book posted. His first name starts with "j" and his second "n".

I just lost them all...I had them in the pm file open until I found #11 and I accidentally closed out the window!

I will never remember them all now.

I'm still stuck at needing 10, 11, and 12...

Sorry, but the J and the N just aren't doing it for me! I also copied everyone's avatar and have scoured the internet looking for them. It's what I did instead of scrapping this morning!

If my avatar is one of the authors, I'm pretty sure it is a different book than mine.

Yes, yours is by Bill Peet and that name isn't on this page...

Kelly, #10 is an illustrator of one of the books in the avatars....

If I may help the other ladies along? 10 of the names are from 10 November avatars that represent a book and two are from classic childrens books (think songs!)

The authors were -
1. Charles Dickens - Christmas carol
2. John Grisham - Skipping Christmas ( that was the one last night that I found a mistake in, I had both an "I" and an "e" and i took out an "i" instead of the "e". Sorry ladies.
3. Steven Kellogg - The Missing Mitten
4. Clement Moore - Twas The Night Before Christmas
5. Donna VanLiere - Christmas Shoes
6. William Porter - (O. Henry) Gift of The Magi
7. Theodor Geisel- (Dr. Seuss - Seuss is his middle name)- The Grinch
8. Robert May - Rudolph
9. Steven Nelson - Frosty
10. Felicia Bond - Christmas in the Manager
11. Jack Newcombe - A Christmas treasury
12. Amy Puetz - Countdown to Christmas

11 and 12 - I saved the avators as pics but could not pick out the authors name, then I search various sites for the cover of the books., finally I just went with the two names that came up the most often in Google searches.

I hope how had a little fun with it, it is suppose to be good for the brain.

That's the one I was stuck on too. Needed Linda's clue to get it! My tummy aches reading that you lost all your typing and your research with it... ugh!
