Twas The Night before Christmas - Parody

Night Before Christmas parody.

IF THERE is a more parodied poem in the English language than Clement Clarke Moore's "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (more popularly known as "The Night Before Christmas"), I don't know what it could possibly be.

The meter of "St. Nick" is infectious, its rhyme scheme cheery and simple, its homespun, nostalgic imagery ripe for spoofing. From lawyers to breast feeding Moms to Rednecks, there is probably a version out there. This is your opportunity to share.

You should come over someday when he's in his lecture mode. It never lasts long with us because we usually tackle and tickle or someone else has a diaper that needs changing or well.... you get the picture!

Kind of reminds me of my principal in AZ. We carpooled together & one day he strongly hinted that I look at his dissertation that was sitting in the back seat. I could barely get through the 1st page but I had to keep reading & pretend it was making sense! LOL Boy did I feel dumb!

My son has two masters degrees in addition to this PhD he's working on. He's given me his thesis's for both the master's to look over the edit for him... ... I actually understood most of what he was saying but it wasn't easy, that's for sure!

Our DD has her PhD and she is a biochemist/food scientist. I have used her articles with high school students that regardless where you are on the reading continum, there is stuff out ther that you can not read/comprehend because you do not have the background knowledge.

The worm one is about "a vermicomposter". You have a bin with worms, inside your home or office, and it quickly composts your food waste. Kind yucky don't you think?
