Found this cute card on the internet:

I am hoping to try this technique today. I wish I had a hexagon punch, though Smile
I know the card is made using stamped hexagons, but I think it can easily be done by cutting out different patterned papers.

That's a really cute card. I agree you could probably get the same effect using patterned paper.

Cute card, I love hexagons and I am forunate enough to have a CM punch. I had it for a long time, so I don't know if it is still available.

That's the best use of hexagons I've seen. A punch would be easy, but you're right, cutting them from pp will give the same effect.

The hexagon punches are hard to find....I think spelbinders has a set out, but they are dies...

I love that card, it's really cute! I dont' know if I could cut them by hand though, my ends would not be even....I might have to get an image off the computer then make a pattern and trace them onto pattern paper.....

Thanks for sharing!

I'd totally use a pattern too. DS got a toy from the store earlier this year and it was these little guys inside a plastic case. Guess what shape the case was? A hexagon! I totally snatched those up before he knew they were gone Laughing I figured I could trace those or stamp them in ink.
