SKETCH Sunday - August 19

This is Sketch 25-12 designed by our own Ali from Sketches: Creatively Yours! released on August 10, 2012.




I've been privileged to be part of her DT for the past several months and I must say that I've thoroughly enjoyed being with her. She's so affirming, and makes creating for the site a pleasure. It's just a wonderful place to be.

WOW ....white space, like lots of it. great drawing though Ali, it's awesome..i'm just scared LOL
would this be okay for a normal size 4x6 pic ? cos i know i have nothing that huge ....hmmmm thinking card would be in order , if its okay ?

Lisa, that's so cute! I love the alpha paper & the tags up by the picture.

Kerri, you could make your mat of the picture larger to fill that space. Or, you could make several mats, each one a bit smaller then put your picture in the middle of the mats.

What about using paint for a background and then the picture on top of that?

It wouldn't take too much paper depending on how big your mats are and how big your picture is Kerri. Lisa's suggestion of paint is good too.

Just don't overthink it & remember you don't have to follow it to the T!

I think that's the main thing with sketches. Make it your OWN... use a 4x6 if you want.. just use the sketch for inspiration.
