I think that you have a legit excuse Jessica! LOL!! How are you feeling???

Quite well, a bit sore and stiff ofcourse. We both slept good last night too.

DH is home until the 3rd of July and the older boys are helping a lot around here. I'm being well taken care of.

Teachers Pet!!
You need to be teachers pet with all the work you have to do and summer school on top of that. I don't mind that you are her pet!! Nice to hear that all is well with you and the baby. You sure have big babies my oldest was 9lbs 13 oz so I know what you have gone through!! Good luck & stay rested!!! Can't wait to see pictures...

Man Jessica I think you are doing great. But you can't be the teacher's pet, I think Lisa and Jackie are.

Tomorrow we are having a substitute teacher helping out, so be nice to her!!!

Substitute teachers can be.....well, there are all kinds. Old ones with hearing aids and thick glasses so you can get away with anything. Young ones who want you to like them. Nice ones who give you just a little bit of work and are very encouraging. Mean ones who crack the whip. I wonder who we'll get.

We'll miss you Miss Helen.

THE SUBSTITUTE

Hurray! We heard our teacher
cannot be with us today.
Instead, we'll have a substitute.
(We'll make her earn her pay.)

Michael will throw spit wads,
and Brandon will eat chalk.
Patrick will poke David,
and all of us will talk.

We smiled and laughed with pleasure
as these thoughts filled every head,
until we found our teacher
sent the principal instead!

I volunteered in a grade 8 class once - oh my!

I think it takes a special person to be a good teacher. Those of you who have chosen that as a profession are amazing people.

Tell me about it!! That's the grade I taught! I hated having a sub because I just had to reteach everything the next day anyway. Math was usually a wash because none of our subs were good at math.
