National Scrapbook Day 2012 - #6

Okay final challenge for today. Remember those coasters, well now's the time to get 'em on your work top.

For this challenge, use three coasters to create a tri-fold photo frame/mini album. You can either do as I did with little hinges, or you can punch holes with your Crop-a-dile and thread ribbon through it. Either way, you're going to make a cute little desk sized photo frame.

I used alcohol inks on my hinges (citrus and ginger).

That's pretty! How did you do your hinges? I have some hinges but have never been able to figure them out. The circular piece is too small for my crop-o-dile & my eyelet punch.

I used Dazzle Tac, Stephanie. It's a glue specifically for metal. Do you have an awl, if you poke the holes with that you could always try to use brads in those holes.

Okay, so the metal part with the hinges isn't supposed to spread like an eyelet? I've been trying to use it like an eyelet for the last 4 yrs.!!! LOL! Every few months I decide to give it another try & it doesn't work so I put them back and wait a few more months. Gotta love packages with no directions!!
