February Swap

For our swap this month we are going to do ATC cards with a twist. Cards with a photo of ourselves, our address and phone number on the front and on the back a little bit about ourselves. It would be nice to keep them in a little index card box and be nice to have.

I'm thinking about it....

Just so you all know, the ATC cards should be 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches so that we all have the same size.

I have my basic cards all done, have the photos attached now I just need to do the information and embellish them... wow, took me all last night to get that much done.

I am hoping everyone gets involved in this one because it would be so nice to have a card from each of the sisters with their info on it and a pic to look at. I am going to make a box to keep them in and set it right here beside my computer monitor. So come on gals.. sign up and I will even give you longer than the month to complete this one because I really really do want you to do this

Helen, I only have 6 people signed up.. somewhat disappointing. I was hoping to get everyone involved in this swap. I would have loved to have a card from every sister.

I need to get one of my kids to take a a current picture of me. Then I need to get them printed out. I know pretty much what I want to do for this. Also, instead of my phone # can I put my e-mail?

I agree Jackie. I guess if someone felt they didn't have the time or $$ to do this, they could e-mail a picture & info to me & I could see what I could come up with.

Stephanie the idea of the phone number is that if you didn't show up for some time, someone could phone you to make sure you were okay ... emailing you and you were ill wouldn't be very helpful.

I was hoping for more joiners too.... shall we wait a bit??

I have 12 cards made just in case. Like I said I was really hoping for a better response. I am willing to give people more time because this is something both Colleen and myself really would like to have from our sisters.
It would be so nice to have a little card with our sisters name and address, and photo and little something about them that we could pull out and look at.

I agree with Jackie. What a great opportunity to share a little bit of yourself with each other. Probably one of the easiest exchanges we have had, we just had to talk about ourselves.

Okay, I'll join in. I had decided I wouldn't participate in this months swap so I could focus on doing layouts, but this is such and nice idea and you gals keep twisting my arm. LOL
