I really like to dress up a circle on my LO's by adding a border punch around the circle. One way to easily do this:

1.Cut out a border strip using whatever border punch you want. Below I have cut two different borders justto show that each will work.

2. Cut the punched border strip into segments as pictured. It looks good to ink the segments particularly if you are using paper with a white core.

3. Glue the individual segments to the backside of the circle:

And that's all there is to it, easy and it looks great.

Here's a LO where I used this technique:

Thanks gals. Lindy you are too kind, you have talent girl, you just have to keep trying new things. It takes time!

LOL, Tabitha, all you need is one border punch to try this, assuming its the kind that can be cut into segments!!

Maggi Maggi Maggi ... this layout is phenomenal! Geeesh, it is so pretty!

Helen I'm glad to hear cameos are big right now because I just did 10 ATCs (theme was favorites and I love cameos) in black and white with a cameo and a string of pearls around the neck!

Also if you have Martha Stewart corner punches, be sure to check out the tutorial link on my challenge 'cause it is an awesome trick for punching around circles!

What a neat tip! I've done the circles behind something to make it look like a scallop but never this. Thanks!
