I have been seeing overly grunged paper lately and love the look.

I found a tutorial here
that you may find helpful.

I tried it and it was so much fun Smile

It's a good tutorial! I like the effect, but I don't think i'd want to use it on too many layoiuts. Some people do awesome with that style of scrapbooking!

I agree Carla. Sometimes there can be to much of a good thing Smile

I think it really adds a nice touch for a vintage feel though.

That's really grunged. I've dampened and crumpled paper for a flowers a few times but that hurts - I love the pretty paper. Smile

Great tut, thanks! Also looks good to crumple paper and then ink over it with distress ink for a grunge look.
