| Okay, so some of the fabulous SOS ladies mentioned in another thread that they would like me to do a T&T video/tutorial of some sort. So I have a few questions for those who'd like it.
1) What method would be the best for you? I'm thinking video would be the best to be able to 'show' what I do, what do you think?
2) What specifically do you want to know?
3) Do you want to see the different types of mists and for me to do a mini comparision type thing?
4) I guess I've just been thinking of ideas since I read that you'd like me to do it and I just want to know what you are looking for so that I can make sure I am doing what it is you guys want!!
Just let me know, I want to do it in the next day or two cuz I am leaving on Thursday and will be gone for almost 2 weeks, so I'd like to get it done then otherwise it will be a couple weeks for sure til I get to it. (I'll have my 'puter and stuff, but not really the time/means to do a tut.)
Thanks ladies! | |

| My thoughts:
If you think video would show what you do better, that would be great. I'm okay with photos if you'd rather not do the video.
What do I want to know? Well the box tip is a great idea a novice might not think of. Is there anything you do to stop from getting big dots rather than a mist? I've read that some people don't like that the paper warps - is there anything to do to prevent that? I have 2 bottles of shimmerz spritz. I've only sprayed on a couple of flowers but the one - it's a white something - didn't seem shimmery at all. Do they require extreme shaking? It did looked well mixed.
For sure product comparisons. I'd love that since I've only got 2 bottles so far but would like to get more.
Anything you stumbled through and now know to avoid that might save us some disasters?
I'm really chicken about trying new things. It's silly I know, but it's as if I want to know how to do it perfectly the first time. I think I have to work on that problem myself. Thanks Mia for whatever you end up doing. | |

| Do you have any "screens" (stencils) that you could show us how to use effectively? Say there is a flourish screen and you want to use it on all four corners of the paper. How would you accomplish that? How do you store your glimmer mists? When I store mine upright it takes forever for the sparkly stuff to mix in with the liquid. Whereas when I lay them on their side I don't have to shake the bottle so hard to get the stuff to mix. Shaking it hard also puts air into bottle, which i think is why you get big splotches. Is it better to spray so the bottle is upright or doesn't make a difference? What are some neat things you do with mists besides spraying them onto you cardstock or pp for a background? Naked chipboard-does it need to be primed first? What about crinkling up a piece of paper and spraying the whole thing-let it dry and open up to reveal the design. Ever tried that before? A video would be nice but if it's a pain then just do what's easiest for you. I'm excited to see what you come up with:) | |
