My daughter (13) has been making these plasticine fugures. Aren't they cute! Might have to make some fondant and get her to do some figures for me to put on cakes.

Those are cute! She has a lot of patience for something that small! What is plasticine? Is it like the polymer clay you bake?

Right, they don't need to be baked. She's actually been making them and then taking them apart because she's running out of colors.

I'm making a cake this evening, using fondant (gonna attempt to make the fondant) and she's gonna do a little leprechaun to put on top.

Those are cute. They would definitely dress up cupcakes if it were fondant.

she needs to try the polymer clay and have some keepers...those are adorable... she's pretty talented! I took a sneak video of my 6 year old grandaughter 'teaching' Kate how to make playdough snails... it is so funny.... I love how kids are so artistic and unaffected by trends.

Those are adorable and she is really good. Defintely need to encourage that. Might have a sculpture on your hands!

Reminds me of a time when I had to sit through a day long retreat with my co-workers. We had pots of playdoh sitting around to have something to do with ourhands . Well i made a poodle or two and some toys for the poodles to play with. they were kind of cute. Brought them home to show dh and set them on the counter. Well when I wnet to get them to show him, they were gone. The dogs had eaten my Palydoh figures!!!

Oh my!!

I think it's a good idea to have playdoh around for long meetings. Just about every adult I know still enjoys playing with it.
