Thankful Thursday - May 23

Great morning to you all! What are you thankful for today??

Today I am thankful that we have central air in our house. The humidity meter was straining to go higher than the top of its scale this morning. Having the a/c allows me to regulate the humidity in the house. Much more comfortable AND much better for my physical body. Heat, humidity and MS don't work well together!

I am thankful that we have had help with sorting all the yard sale goods! They are not early to rise though......lol.

I am thankful for our cow and chickens. They are a lot of work but it's so nice to have milk and eggs on hand.

Years and years ago when my boys were babies, we lived in an area where neighbours had too much milk from their cow to use. They used to give me a huge jug (more than 1 gallon I think) of cow milk. It was fabulous! That yummy cream from the top of the jar... heaven!

I like saving some of it for my coffee. How nice of the neighbors to share with you!

We were pretty poor.. it was one way of "tithing" I think..

I am thankful for you girls - always inspiring and funny and kind!

I am thankful that I went to aquafitness today.. I feel fantastic!!

Hmmmmm, I'll think on this one a bit.....

I am thankful I can do this to Helen re: her healthy level of fitness and she won't do anything but at most give me one in return!!

I'm thankful Kelly made me laugh while I'm trying to have patience in putting my almost 3 yr. old to sleep for a nap! LOL!

I'm thankful for the unique ways in which God chooses to answer our prayers. I've been praying and praying wearing my knees out on a situation and in one fell swoop He answered both prayers with one answer. Later today I spoke with my fiance and he tells me that this answer could potentially lead to more blessing in the future so I am truly thankful today! I'm sorry to be so vague but I don't know how much I'm supposed to share and how much I'm supposed to be 'polite' lol

btw, I think this is a lovely idea. Keeps us remembering to count out blessings more often than we (as in me) do.

Yay for answers Sherri-Ann! It's so neat when you can look back at a specific situation and see what parts of it were truly divine

The kids went swimming with Devin yesterday eveing -- I opted to stay home and have a hot soak in my own tub

You're probably more relaxed as a result, Carla. I always found that just getting everyone out of the house was the first step in relaxing!!
