I finished my layout for this one today. I certainly got messy. Instead of using paint, I wet my chaulk blocks and "painted" with the brown and black. Then I sprayed some black paint on the background. Then I got into the copper Stickles I have and smuged that into the brown streaks using my fingers and I did remember to add a hint of red, but I don't think it's showing on the photograph well. I used a little red chaulk to smear and tint the petals of the flowers. I also used raw chipboard for the flower leaves and inked them green.

Very cool Pam! I love the chipboard shapes with the sunflowers!

Helen that is beautiful and a truth that we do need to remember.

How cool... love what you did with the paint and stickles!!! And love how that sign is "grounded" with the paint splatters! WTG!!!!!

"smearing stickles" and you did it on purpose.... hmmm.... usually my stickles are smeared by accident ON MY ELBOW! what a creative idea... I'm going to try it...

Great job, Pam! All of your elements came together beautifully! I like the addition of the chipboard leaves!

Kelly you make me laugh. Usually I have the same issue. THis time I decided to get them before they got me. lol

Used Webster's paper, flowers, black flower, brads, lace and washi tape, a red heart. Messy? Yes... stick, stick, stick..
